Where's Art: Discoveries in Animals and Lanscapes

Six framed works of art (all of animals) hanging on a brick wall
Zeitgeist

Animals, landscapes, new space... there are a handful of things to choose from this week when it comes to art in the Northland.

At Zeitgeist, you can see the group exhibit Animal Form. Curated by local artist Penny Perry, the exhibit features work from over forty different artists and poets to highlight animals.

Currently at Siiviis Gallery is work by Stillwater oil painter Laura Lindquist. Using bold color and strong lighting, Lindquist works to capture Minnesota landscapes on canvas.

A new place for art in Duluth is Halcyon House at 11 E Michigan Street. By this fall, the space will also be a tea house, but in the meantime it's a place to see art. The work of Tracy Murphy is currently on display.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.

Luke Moravec is the host for Northland Morning on The North 103.3. He’s also a local actor, musician and writer. He loves puzzles, riddles and fun mysteries.
