Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Crash

Cait "Crash" Dettmann is lacing up the roller skates and hitting the track tomorrow night with the rest of the Harbor City Roller Derby team. The first bout of the season pits HCRD against Med City Roller Derby at Wessman Arena in Superior. Doors to the event open at 5pm, derby starts at 6pm. Tickets are available at the door or through the Harbor City Roller Derby website.

Well before the "Crash" component of their persona was discovered, Cait bought their first album - and subsequently became enamored with turtlenecks. Their first concert experience included some insider knowledge about where the frosted-tipped lead singer would be appearing in the crowd. And in the realm of guilty pleasure songs, Crash leans towards tunes that bring the positive energy. "The world's hard right now, people are feeling it, so you can just gas yourself up."
