Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Mary Bue

Celebrated Minnesota musician Mary Bue is back in Duluth tonight for a show at Sacred Heart Music Center in Duluth. In the midst of teaching yoga and leading international retreats, Mary has found the time and energy for a new album. The Wildness of Living & Dying is out now. More information about Mary and all of her endeavors can be found on her website.

After a casual, but in-depth conversation about astrology, Mary recounted her first CD purchase and the seventh-grade emotions that went along with it. Her first concert saw her up-close with one of the biggest bands of the 90s. And her guilty pleasure song list culminated with a water-skiing cowboy. "They're just always in my head... why is this here?"
