As a volunteer DJ on The North 103.3 FM, Tim Winker has found a way to flex his radio skills that he garnered decades ago at Brown Institute. But his skills, interests, and experiences go well beyond that. Tim has spent time behind the wheel as a cab driver, and as a racer.
Pivoting from his father's influence, Tim selected two albums to start his personal music collection. During his first concert, he found the gumption to ask a legend for an autograph. And his guilty pleasure couldn't be contained to a single song, but rather an entire genre. "Anytime I'm out west... I try to find a Mexican station."
