Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Rachael Kilgour

Rachael Kilgour has been hitting the road with her music lately, performing throughout the eastern reaches of the US and Canada. Tonight, Kilgour is back in town for a Valentine's Day show at Sacred Heart in Duluth, performing with opener Embalming Eva. Tickets for tonight's show can be found through the Sacred Heart Music website.

Coming from a family that didn't often purchase items for themselves, Rachael's first albums were most likely gifts from others. Her first concert was in conjunction with a protest. And her guilty pleasure song is catchy, if sometimes lyrically problematic. "I don't know if this truly represents who I am in the world, and that's okay."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
