In her first few months as a stand-up comedian, Jessi Prouse frequented the open mics around town and ultimately qualified for the final round of the Funniest Person in the Twin Ports Contest. Though she admits that she's still honing her craft and finding her stage voice, Jessi is being sought for comedy events. This Saturday night, Jessi is making her "roast" debut at the Caddyshack.
Long before taking the stage, Jessi was exploring the music of her first album aboard a Gemini spaceship and traveling to Flint, Michigan to attend her first live concert courtesy of a Norwegian synth-pop band. But her guilty pleasure music takes on a calmer tone, great for both videogaming and relaxing. "It's so inspiring. It just makes me happy to listen to it... the music is kind of like going on an adventure."
