Two visual art exhibits have opened recently in the area.
Anastasia Bamford has a new exhibit at Wussow's Concert Cafe in West Duluth. The exhibit, titled Morphology, is a dual-media display of poetry and photography. "I think there's something beautiful about looking at physical photographs in a real space," says Annie Dugan. "That intentional look and intentional looking has seen a comeback."
At the Depot, there's a dual-artist display on the fourth floor Balcony Gallery. Mentor North pairs together mentors and mentees and has collected art from these pairings to display. "The exhibition features work that these folks have made together," says Dugan. "You can't help but smile when you see these."
You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
