The award season is upon us, and that means recognition to area artists in the Northland.
Some notable award winners this year include Karen Savage-Blue, this year's George Morrison Award recipient. The award is presented to an artist with a complete body of work that has made an impact over a long period of time. Giizh Agaton Howes is this year's recipient of the Award for Transformational Art.
