"It's a grand week in art in our community," says Annie Dugan. Multiple locations in the Northland have lists of art classes with options that are both new and unique.

Spirit of the Lakes Community Arts in Lakeside presents Invasive Color on Saturday, August 17th from 10am-2pm. The event flips the script on invasive species in the area. Through the harvesting of local invasive species, dyes have been created. The Spirit of the Lakes Community Arts Center has several classes and events that you can keep up to date on by visiting their website.

Additionally, the Duluth Folk School has several offerings including Electronic Conductive Art Instruments on August 17th, a hands-on course that incorporates various conductive materials that can be designed by participants before being electronically connected to various pieces of modern tech.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
