Where's Art: Through the Thin Veil

Annie Dugan continues the Halloween spirit by taking us to the edge of the thin veil that separates our world and the one beyond.

On Friday, November 3rd, Prøve Gallery in Duluth is hosting a Dia de Los Muertos celebration from 6-9pm. The event will include food, music, crafts, and a community ofrenda (an altar to honor loved ones who have passed.)

Saturday night brings the 16th annual All Souls Night celebration in Duluth. "This has been a really important community event," says Dugan. A funeral march for rotten ideas, large puppets, spoken word presentations, ceremonies, and more will fill the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and the Downtown Duluth Public Library Outdoor Pavillion.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
