Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Shawna Weaver

A person in a grey long-sleeved shirt sitting by a couch, smile, with a violin resting on their knee

Shawna Weaver has become a familiar face on area stages. She plays piano, violin, and supplies vocals for several bands. She's also the program director for the Music Resource Center in Duluth. Music is not the only part of her life, but it is a big component.

Several gifts from Shawna's mother and sister made for a list of first albums, a double billing of hair bands made for a memorable first concert, and her guilty pleasure song has been covered by every band that she's been in... and it's the first thing she hears every morning. "That's still my alarm."
