Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Natalie Hest

A person in pink and black stands next to a big red dog costume character

To be clear, Natalie Hest started wearing pink before the Barbie movie came out. After spending time wearing neutral colors in her previous career as a music therapist, Natalie started exploring a brighter wardrobe. She now brings her vibrant presentation to PBS North / The North 103.3FM as the Director of Development.

With music saturating her personal and professional life, Natalie had no shortage of answers to the three Back Tracks questions. Her first album was born from a bit of a rebellious spirit, her first concert was courtesy of cool Uncle James, and her guilty pleasure song was eventually narrowed down from an extensive list. Her final choice is a good tune for "anytime we're having a weird day, or we want to let loose as a family."
