Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Annmarie Geniusz

Annmarie Geniusz

June has been a big month for artist Annmarie Geniusz. She has been utilizing local parks and the concrete surfaces therein as canvases for chalk art. "Every Wednesday I'm doing a different park," says Geniusz whose work can next be seen at Keene Creek on June 21st.

Geniusz's first album and first concert are a couple of heavy hitters from some 90s legends. Her guilty pleasure song is also a classic 90s work, but it ventures away from the mosh pit and into the tropics - and may or may not involve making dinosaur sounds. "If you're a nerdy kid... you know every sound in that soundtrack."
