Where's Art with Annie Dugan: An eventful week at UWS

There are two exhibitions with opening celebrations this week at the Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center at UWS, one in the Kruk Gallery, the other in the Project Gallery.

At the Kruk Gallery this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm is the opening reception of the exhibit Remnants, featuring works by four artists: Amy Varsek, John Sager, Matt Kania and Erin Endsley, each working in a different medium (sculpture, fibers, photography, and printmaking.

Meanwhile, at the Project Gallery, also at 5:30 pm, is the opening celebration of the exhibit Gravare, showcasing woodblock prints by visiting artist Shannon Cousino.

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
