There are many reasons to create social clubs, such as community service, sports, arts, books, or other common interests. A new club on the UMD campus has been created called the Kevin Klub, with the goal of gathering together a common-interest community of Kevins; people named Kevin and people who know and admire persons named Kevin. Why? Klub creator Christina Schindler, who is clearly not named Kevin, but appreciates all Kevins, says, "Well, the simple answer is because every Kevin I know is fun and interesting, so why not a roomful of Kevins?"
The Kevin Klub plans to meet the first Wednesday of every month on the UMD campus.
