Where’s Art with Annie Dugan - Wonderful art to be seen this summer, both near and far

On Tuesday, July 9th, The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC) is holding open office hours from 2 to 5:30 p.m., where artists can not only ask for grant writing tips from Holly, their grants manager, there is also great local art on the walls to be seen!

On Thursday, July 11th from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the American Indian Community Housing Organization (AICHO) will host an artist talk for its latest art exhibition, titled Long Night of the Floating Shell, with the artists Zamara Cuyún and ?Jonathan Thunder.

Ongoing at Pineapple Art Duluth is the Robert Dewitt Adams exhibit In Formation.

Also ongoing (from June to August) at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) is an exhibit called Hearts of Our People, the "first major exhibition of artwork by Native women honors the achievements of over 115 artists from the United States and Canada spanning over 1,000 years."

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
