Where's Art? with Annie Dugan

 At Lizards Art Gallery on Thursday, August 11 from 5-7 p.m. is the opening reception for Collusion, an exhibit by two pairs of artists working collaboratively in their respective mediums: Richard Gruchalla & CarrinRosetti  (Raku) and Jeffrey Schmidt & Kristen Wasyliszyn (oils and acrylics).

Also on Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Tweed Museum of Art there is an Artist Talk with photographer Vance Gellert called “The Stories Behind the Story,” discussing the Tweed exhibit of his photography, Iron Country.

In collaboration with the DAI, there is an ongoing series curated by Kathy McTavish called the Duluth Quantum Computing Project: Storytelling in a Digital Age. This week, she presents "The Anatomy of a Web Page; The Flying Trapeze; The Aerial Art of Hypertext; and The Gymnastics of Reading."

Chris Harwood is The North 1033’s Production Director and (acting) Program Director, a morning/daytime host, and the host of Soul Village. He is also a musician, a music historian, an audio engineer, and an avid record collector.
