7/8 Radio Gallery: Tonya Borgeson

  Duluth ceramic artist TonyaBorgeson has once again been invited to show her work as part of the Prairie Outdoor Exhibition at the Winnipeg Folk Festival to be enjoyed by tens of thousands of festival goers.  Her installation called "The Universe Inside You" invites guests to walk an infinity path and reflect on the world as a changing place within us.  Tonya is an integral part of the ceramics community in Duluth with her community clay center; Snoodles Ceramics.  Her unique installation can only be experienced at the Winnipeg Folk Festival July 9th-12th at Birds Hill Provincial Park in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Tonya Borgeson

Former Program Director, Maija Jenson teaches journalism in the Department of Communication at UMD and was a part of KUMD 2008-2019. She hosted a weekly arts program "Radio Gallery." She shares a lifetime of public radio listening, degrees in journalism and art and 20 years of public radio experience with KFAI, WHA, WSUM and KUMD.
