Radio Gallery 10-27-2010: Erik Pearson

Pearson, a St. Paul Artist with Superior roots, speaks with Radio Gallery about his mural at Red Mug Coffee and his current endeavor called the Back Door Pilot Project. Three doorways will receive Pearson's bright artwork as part of the Back Door Pilot Project. The project consists of a joint collaboration of three Superior nonprofit organizations- the Superior Business Improvement District, the Superior Arts District Development Committee and the Superior Council for the Arts. The murals are on the back doors of buildings on Tower Avenue in order to create interest and generate business. This project is an example of how arts are coming alive in Superior, and being useful in generating business and creating interest.
