Radio Gallery 01-13-10: Chuck Hues

Hosted by Maija Morton

Hues began his career making shirt designs for Grateful Dead in 1992, and since then his work has been expanding. The back drop used for the Ten Thousand Lakes Festival is a mural that Hues designed, and he has been adding onto it each year since 2005. Hues also does live art, in which he paints along side bands during live shows. Many jam bands, such as Lunar Funk Theory and Wookiefoot, have had Hues do their album artwork as well. Currently, however, he is focusing on traveling to various business all over the country to paint wall murals. Hear Hues talk about his fascinating work on Radio Gallery.
