This electic Minnesota singer, songwriter, and guitarist, originally from Northfield, plays in multiple bands including The Big Wu and and a Pink Floyd tribute band. As a solo artist, his lifelong love of the blues (inspired by seeing B.B. King perform when Joseph was 12 years old) shines through. His fourth and most recent release is Palisade Peach, a solid mix of soulful blues originals and covers with a slew of high-profile guest musicians including blues harp legend Stanley Behrens, guitarist Albert Lee, and Melvin Seals, Jerry Garcia's longtime organist. The North 1033's Christine Dean talked with Joseph about the album and he performed some songs solo when he joined us in the studio on February 1, 2024.
