This Minnesota native moved to Oregon after high school and, among other things, worked on a crab boat, biked across the country, and built her own tiny house. She recently moved back to her home state and has been performing regularly in the Twin Ports, often collaborating with local musicians. Her style blends Americana and jazz, performed on a seven-string guitar. Woods recently recorded a song with Minneapolis producer and musician Kevin Bowe and has a sophomore
album due out later this year. We learned more when Skarlett joined us in the studio on January 25, 2023.
She performs at the Spirit Room in Superior on January 28 for the Lake Superior Ice Festival.
