This Duluth singer/songwriter released a new album, Scream, earlier this year. Recorded with Adam Herman of the Slamming Doors, the album, according to Abukhodair, tells "A story of learning how to deal with the feeling of being controlled." We talked with her about the album and she shared some songs and a spoken word piece from it when she joined us in the studio on June 13, 2022. Abukhodair has several full band shows coming up this summer including on July 15 at Pizza Luce.
