Since our last visit with this esteemed Duluth musician, he signed with the Smithsonian Folkways record label, fitting for someone whose early musical tastes were formed by listening to their Anthology of American Folk Music. Parr released his first album with them, Last of the Better Days Ahead, in July, 2021, and has since toured extensively, including a recent trip to Europe and the British Isles. We caught up with Charlie when he joined us in the studio on June 14, 2022
