Forever Home: July 11, 2019

Mali is a black tortoiseshell domestic short hair who is 2 years old. Mali is a sweet and playful gal who has a lot of energy! She would love to go to a home that can give her lots of attention and playtime. 

Ash is a tan American Shelter Dog who is 1 year old. Ash is an energetic and friendly guy who would spend all day playing fetch if you'd let him. This smart pup comes with 2 free months of professional dog training, and is looking for an owner who will continue working with him! 

Winston is a blue brindle mixed breed who is 3 years old. Winston is a friend to everyone he meets! He loves belly rubs, getting brushed, and snuggling up to whoever is closest! Winston hasn't had a bunch in the past, so he would love a patient and diligent home ready to help him learn!

Lizzie is a lilac point Siamese who is 3 years old. Lizzie is looking for a home with her best friend Nezzie. These sweet gals can be a little shy, so they are looking for a patient home that will give them plenty of time to settle in. Their previous owners said they do well with other cats and dogs and love playing with toys!

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
