Forever Home: July 4, 2019

Curly is a black Toy Poodle who is 10 years old. Curly is a sweet and laid back guy. He can be a little nervous around new people and in new situations but once he has some time to get comfortable, he just wants someone to cuddle with! He would do best in a laid back environment where he can have plenty of time to get settles into his new home. 

Bjorn is a 3 year old black mixed breed. Bjorn has a million dollar smile and LOVES people. He would be best suited for a home with no other animals, but is as sweet as can be! 

Josiah is a black and white domestic short hair who is 10 weeks old. Josiah is a sweet and playful boy! He has plenty of kitten energy and would love to go to a home where he can get lots of play time and love!

Jedediah is a buff and white domestic short hair who is 10 weeks old. Jedidiah is a curious and playful little guy. He loves playing with toys, people, and his litter mates and then taking long naps. 

Animals available for adoption can be visited at Animal Allies Humane Society, 4006 Airport Road in Duluth and their phone number is 218-722-5341. All animals will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated by the time they go home.

Lisa Johnson started her broadcast career anchoring the television news at her high school and spinning country music at KWWK/KOLM Radio in Rochester, Minnesota. She was a reporter and news anchor at KTHI in Fargo, ND (not to mention the host of a children's program called "Lisa's Lane") and a radio reporter and anchor in Moorhead, Bismarck, Wahpeton and Fergus Falls.Since 1991, she has hosted Northland Morning on KUMD. One of the best parts of her job includes "paying it forward" by mentoring upcoming journalists and broadcasters on the student news team that helps produce Northland Morning. She also loves introducing the different people she meets in her job to one another, helping to forge new "community connections" and partnerships.Lisa has amassed a book collection weighing over two tons, and she enjoys reading, photography, volunteering with Animal Allies Humane Society and fantasizing about farmland. She goes to bed at 8pm, long before her daughter, two cats, or three dogs.
