In 2013, the State of Minnesota enacted the Child Victims Act - allowing victims of child sexual abuse a three-year window to file a civil action—even if they'd been told they couldn't because of a statute of limitations.
It's been a little more than a week since the Minnesota Child Victims Act expired, but only time will tell what the repercussions will be as new names of perpetrators and new documents revealing cover-ups come to light.
