Green Visions: Wisconsin Stormwater Week 2026

Wisconsin Stormwater Week

This year, Wisconsin Stormwater Week will be happening from September 19th-27th. The week of events will include education opportunities for residents as well as stormwater professionals.

"Stormwater is one of the leading causes of surface water pollution," says Megan Högfeldt, Water Resources Specialist with the City of Superior. Now in its fourth year, the event is being streamlined and adjusted to better connect with community members.

While working with area teachers to bolster the Adopt-a-Storm Drain program, Högfeldt is also playing host for three webinars. On September 22nd is Whose Pond is it Anyway?, on Wednesday the 23rd is Only Rain Down the Drain!, and on the 24th is Infiltration: We're Not Talking Coffee. All webinars begin at 6pm - a change from the lunch hour presentations in previous years.

For more information, visit the Wisconsin Stormwater Week website. You can also register for webinars and learn more details online.

You can hear Green Visions at 8:20am every Wednesday on Northland Morning.
