Green Visions: Climate Conversations with Lisa Fitzpatrick

Combating climate change is a heavier task every day. A group of Duluthians made that clear recently by projecting the Climate Emergency Clock onto the steam plant in Duluth. Although the clock is ticking, many are seeking ways to maintain hope for the Earth through conversation.

Lisa Fitzpatrick, who was recently awarded a grant, is a proponent of action around climate change beginning with awareness. "The grant is specifically about having climate conversations," says Fitzpatrick. "Climate change... has become a difficult thing to talk about... it is scary, but it's not a fraught thing."

A very new website has also been born from the grant. Though still in its early stages, more information about coming events and initiatives can be expected.

You can hear Green Visions at 8:20am every Wednesday on Northland Morning.
