The Duluth Garden Flower Society will host their annual plant sale on Saturday Morning, May 27th. "It only lasts an hour or two," says Tom Kasper. "It's really a great way to not only pick up some goods deals on some hardy plants that we know will survive... but we also can usually get a pretty good low price on a few things to either starts a garden or add to a garden."

The plant sale takes place at the Rose Garden in Duluth and begins at 8am and lasts until 10am or until items are sold out. For those interested in making purchases be sure to bring cash or check. No sales are allowed prior to the start time. "They sound an alarm at 8 o'clock," says Kasper who remembers people putting their finger into a pot as a way of claiming the item prior to the start time.

The coveted items won't last long, so be ready to get your finger dirty.
