“Misisipi” Mike Wolf is a traditional folk and country singer/songwriter who performs both solo and in enough bands to fill a summer music festival lineup. He writes songs with the same heart and humor as greats like John Prine, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Wolf recently won first place in the Duluth Dylan Fest songwriters contest and holds down weekly residencies throughout the Twin Ports, most recently at the Cedar Lounge. His local band projects include Boxcar, Neatneatneat, Actual Wolf, Crooked Mile and Eldri Snow’s Wintry Mix.

Headlining the evening is The Last Revel, the Minneapolis four-piece known for lush four-part vocal harmonies and dynamic arrangements featuring acoustic guitar, upright bass, fiddle, and 5-string banjo. Opening the night is Duluth’s own Between Howls. Husband-and-wife duo Ren Howl (violin) and Nick Howl (guitar) bring soaring vocal harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, and virtuosic instrumental work that’s been captivating audiences across the U.S. since 2018.

The Cedar Lounge
Sophie Hiroko was born and raised in Duluth, MN by the waters of Lake Superior and the northern forests of ancient wisdom. She has been writing and creating her whole life, but began her music career nearly a year and a half ago, which has since launched into the career of her dreams! After winning the grand prize of Trampled by Turtles' Palomino grant in 2025, she moved to Minneapolis to pursue music full time. This past October, she took her debut EP "to the core" on tour which ended in Brooklyn NYC. Her music is a grungy and powerful expression of her life experiences that is catching the attention of many, in the realm of Minnesota music. Her current full-band iteration is a girlband which includes Skye of SLOG on drums and Kara of Momzilla on bass.
The Spine Stealers are an eerie folk band fronted by songwriter Emma O’Shea, whose songs conjure dark lakes, brain-burned nostalgia and fractured memories. In just three years, they’ve etched their name into the region’s folk scene, quietly amassing a devoted following. The band took on their first national tour through the Western US and released their second EP, Yellow Feather in 2025. They have been featured on Gems on VHS Long Playlist and October 2024 Playlist, won the 2023 Blue Ox Virtual Band Competition, as well as making the official Blue Ox Music Festival lineup in 2025 and supported acts such as Haley Heyndrickx, Chris Acker, Basia Bulat, The Last Revel, Them Coulee Boys, Dead Horses, Wild Horses, Charlie Parr, Palmyra and Arcadian Wild.

Dedric Clark is lead vocalist and lyricist of the Social Animals, a rock band that formed in Duluth. When Clark is not on tour, he plays stripped-down solo shows like this one to keep himself fresh and to try out new material.
The Wandering Eye (A Tribute to Ween) is a polished tribute ensemble celebrating the breadth and craft of Ween’s catalogue. Featuring Marc Gartman (Glitteratti, DAMIEN), Alan Sparhawk (Low, Derecho), Tim Saxhaug (Trampled By Turtles), Dan Anderson, and Tyler Dubla, the group pairs precise musicianship with an approachable, enjoyable stage presence. Their repertoire ranges from well-known favorites to deeper album cuts, presented with faithful arrangements and room for each member’s musical voice.

The Northstars perform all around Minnesota and beyond and have been invited to share the stage with such notable acts as the Minus 5, the Jayhawks, Drivin’ and Cryin’, and Trampled By Turtles. Rich also co-fronts a Neil Young tribute band with Alan Sparhawk (of LOW fame) on occasion. Somewhat of a Minnesota music staple, Mattson is well known for his songwriting and outstanding showmanship as well as his work with literally thousands of artists at his Sparta Sound recording studio. The latest Rich Mattson and the Northstars album (available on LP, CD as well all streaming) OUT THERE came out in November of 2022 on Poor L’amour/Sparta Sound. A new single, “Rendezvous With a Star” was released May 31, 2024 and is among the band’s finest work. More music is on the way in 2024!
Miss Georgia Peach is a country-rock artist from Saint Paul, Minnesota, known for a style she calls "70s country bubblegum." While she began her career in the early '90s punk scene, her current solo work leans into vintage honky-tonk and outlaw country with a rock 'n' roll edge.
The Mud Puppies are a rising band from Duluth, Minnesota, carving out a sound they proudly call “folk grunge.” Blending the raw, introspective storytelling of classic folk with the electric edge of 90s alternative, they draw inspiration from artists like Townes Van Zandt, Nirvana, and Jeff Buckley while creating something distinctly their own.
