A retrospective exhibition opens this week. The work of Jeffrey Kalstrom, who passed away earlier this summer, will be on display at Prøve Gallery in downtown Duluth. The exhibit titled Tangled up in Beauty is co-sponsored by the Nordic Center.

"I'm really excited that we get to see... quite a bit of his art on exhibition and really get a sense of the kind of questions he kept asking, the kind of explorations he kept engaging with as an artist," says Annie Dugan of Kalstrom. "Jeffrey really had us awake in this moment of our lives."

The teacher, organizer and curator will be celebrated with an opening reception at 4pm on Friday, August 7th. More information about the show can be found online via the Nordic Center website.

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
