For Abrianna Schmidt, growing up as a "Playhouse Kid" means instilled creativity and courage. For the next three weekends, you can see Abrianna as "Margot" in Legally Blonde: The Musical on the NorShor stage. Her creative talents have also brought her to Nashville after winning the Country Music Hall of Fame songwriting contest in 2024.
Other than countless hours at the Playhouse, Abrianna's creative building blocks also include her first album purchase which was procured on a family trip to visit Judy Garland's hometown. Her first live concert came courtesy of a sick friend and a mother who was willing to play chauffer. And when it comes to a guilty pleasure song, Abrianna dives back in time to Woodstock... Woodstock '99. "That's one that I think I can confidently say is a little bit of a guilty pleasure."
