Also on Thursday, at 7pm at Zenith Bookstore, there is a book event with Gabe Montesanti about the book Drag Thing: A Memoir of Mania and Mirrors. The book is an honest look at mental health and drag culture.
On Friday, from 3:30-5:30pm at Studio Café in downtown Duluth is Queer Art Club. The event is put on by Out Front Minnesota and is open to anyone interested in making art.
The joyful week of art continues into the weekend with STEAMM Fest and National Train Day at the Depot on Saturday, May 9th. With the inclusion of A for Art and an extra M for Music, the event will include hands-on experiments, robotics, exhibits and more. The event runs from 10am-2pm and is free.
