Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Clif Nesseth

Clif Nesseth

Accomplished musician Clif Nesseth spent two weeks in Sweden this summer furthering his music education. One of the core members of the band Ponyfolk (performing on Saturday, September 6th at Earth Rider), Clif is also a music teacher and the coordinator for arts and cultural programming at the Nordic Center of Duluth. All told, Clif's focuses are both Nordic and nerdy.

When it comes to first albums, Clif went Irish rather than Nordic while still showing his music-nerd colors. His first concert was a double headliner which yielded more memories of the band he was less excited about. And his guilty pleasure song ventures back to the British Isles and to the world of modern pop. "It sets a really good vibe, and I just really like that track."
