Childhood doesn't have to end just because you've grown up. That's one pillar to the philosophy behind Holly Keller's work as a fabric artist. Keller creates whimsical, handmade toys and plushies for kids of all ages.
"It really began with my mom," says Keller. "My mom's just a super creative person and actually a very talented seamstress... I just grew up with a lot of things being made around me." In addition to creating unique and lasting toys, the products are also derived from secondhand clothing and eco-friendly textiles - another pillar in Keller's manifesto.
Keller will be at the Park Point Art Fair on June 28th and 29th from 10am-5pm. For more information about her work and her upcoming art fair schedule, visit Beeper Bébé Studios online.
You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning.
