"It's this childish game between these two middle-aged adolescent gentlemen." That's the brief synopsis of Die Fledermaus as told by baritone opera singer Lee Gregory. This Friday, June 13th and Sunday, June 15th, Gregory and others from Lyric Opera of the North (LOON) will be on stage at the Norshor Theatre to bring the comic operetta to life.

In their 20th season, LOON is calling back to their first ever event which included scenes from Die Fledermaus. The performance will be in English with English supertitles above the screen. "There are belly laughs, there are chuckles," says Gregory. "There's nothing heavy about this show, it is just a riot and a good fun time."

Tickets and more information can be found on the Lyric Opera of the North website.

You can hear Community Connection every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am on Northland Morning.
