"I love Valentine's Day cards because they are a visual representation of love," says Annie Dugan. "They can be meaningful and beautiful."

Whether or not you are the recipient of any valentines this week, there's a lot to love about the art scene in the Northland.

A display of unique paintings by Rita Bergstedt called "Dreamscapes" is on display at Zeitgeist Restaurant in Duluth. Bergstedt's painting process incorporates wax that helps add dimension to the painted pieces.

Jennifer Lind has a new exhibit open now at Wussow's Concert Cafe in West Duluth.

Kathryne Ford will be performing live liquid light art with Salty Dog at Bent Paddle on Monday nights. "When you think of liquid light, you think of 1960s and 70s background, kind of lava lamp," says Dugan. "She has figured out how to use this specific technique through blowing the liquids and colors together."

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
