If you've got your walking shoes on, you're all set to embark on a three-stop art journey in downtown Duluth.
Now through November 2nd, North Shorror is on display at the St. Louis County Depot. Works by various visual artists capture the spooky side of the season. "This haunted art gallery features work from around the community," says Annie Dugan. Hours to view the exhibit are 10am-5pm daily.
At the Merrill Lynch Fine Arts Gallery at the Great Lakes Aquarium, Miranda Rinne presents An Aquarist's Field Guide. "[Rinne] is inspired by biology field guides, vintage zoology textbooks, certainly the animals that reside at the aquarium as well," says Dugan. The gallery is open and free to the public, even without admission to the aquarium. Rinne's exhibit closes on November 11th.
The Nordic Center is also playing host to a new exhibit. Now through November 16th, visitors can see The Nordic Folk Art Collection of Mike and Dawn Conlan. Items include rosemaled plates, carved figures, cabinets, and more. The exhibit concludes with a closing talk at 1pm at the Nordic Center on Saturday the 16th.
You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
