Back Tracks: Three Music Questions with Dan Proctor

Long-time resident of the Chester Park neighborhood and steward for the nearby hiking trails, Dan Proctor is a local fixture of the area. For Dan, autumn means baking pies. In the fall of 2023 alone, he baked 160 apple pies. If you're looking for Dan, head into the woods and keep your eyes open.

Dan's first album purchase was the second album from a notable band. His first concert cost him $2 and featured a pioneering guitarist. When it comes to a guilty pleasure song, Dan admits that there's something about a troupe of Muppets covering the Troggs. "It cheers me up... it's great stuff."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
