Can you think of a picture book protagonist sillier than a fainting goat?
Goat's Boat Won't Float by Kim A. Larson, with illustrations by Gozde Eyce, takes early readers on a comedic adventure in which Goat and his nervous friend Turkey discover there is such thing as too many oats in a boat.
"My grandchildren have baby goats on their hobby farm... ever since, I thought they needed to be in a picture book," says Larson about the idea behind Goat. This is her second book featuring the unlikely duo Goat and Turkey, and she hopes that the series can continue to grow.
Readers can find Goat's Boat Won't Float at any retail store or online. You can also visit Kim Larson's website to learn more.
