Community art is a large part of Duluthian life. People gathering to celebrate artists and art that reflects the life of Duluth and the Northshore often creates comradery and understanding.
The Duluth Pottery Gallery invites traveling artists to show their work at their space. Nelia Harper, a recent graduate from the Great Lakes Academy of Fine Arts, is one of these travelling artists who mixes her classical training with her own artistic voice. This exhibition will be healed at the Duluth Pottery and Tile Gallery April 4th from 5-7pm.
Additionally, students from UMD are exhibiting their work at the Annual Student Exhibition at the Tweed Museum. These are mostly graduating seniors showing the work they have created throughout their years at the University. The reception is April 20th from 1-3pm.
