Annie Dugan discusses the interconnectedness of fabric and fiber art within the Northland community and how, even though we cannot touch it, we can feel it.
The Prove Collective is exhibiting Lauren Faherty's collection called Interlaced. This piece consists of fabric donated from Duluth citizens and presented to show how we as humans are connected by fabric.
Across the bridge, visual artists Moira Villiard and Carla Hamilton are showcasing their series called Waiting for Beds at the Kruk Gallery at UWS. The series focuses on the mental health crisis and a discussion about people's experience will be held on March 21st at 2pm.
Moira Villiard also collaborated with Alexis Martinez to create an indigenous themed museum mural for the Minnesota Discovery Center. The unveiling will take place on March 14th at 5:30pm.
