Art takes on many forms. Sometimes those forms are buoyant.

Underway! is a celebration of all things related to small watercraft. The exhibition, which opened at the Nordic Center in downtown Duluth on January 12th and runs through February 24, includes 3-D and 2-D work focusing on sailboats, canoes and more. Many local artists including Carl Gawboy, Wendy Savage, Jeffery Kalstrom, and others have contributed visual works for the exhibit. You can learn more about
Underway! (as well as the upcoming SunFUNday event on February 25th at the Nordic Center) by visiting the Nordic Center website.

Additionally, Annie Dugan encourages checking out the Love Your Local Artist event at the Superior Public Library on Friday, February 9th from 5:30-8pm, as well as the BIPOC Business Showcase from 1-5pm on Saturday the 10th. "Artists are businesses," says Dugan. "Small businesses unto themselves."

You can hear Where's Art every Monday morning at 8:20 on Northland Morning.
