Jean Sramek is not only a fixture around The North 1033 studios, but also around the Twin Ports arts scene. She's had her hand in various theater projects, mostly as a writer. Jean now splits her professional time between The North and Zenith Bookstore.

Pinning down a first album wasn't a simple task for Jean. Recalling the specifics of a first concert was even more difficult. It was only the guilty pleasure song that came with a certain ease, and for good reason. "He talks a whole verse in the song... but I love it."

Back Tracks receives support from Minnesota Power Employees Credit Union. You can hear Back Tracks every Friday at 8am on Northland Morning.
