Mandolinist and Duluth native Joe K. Walsh is coming home for a show at Sacred Heart Music Center on Sunday, October 29th with his band Mr. Sun. Now residing in Maine, Walsh travels the country performing and teaching when he's not busy as a mandolin instructor at the Berklee College of Music.
Like all musicians, Walsh has his influences. He hasn't kept up to date with the artist behind his first album purchase, his first concert was courtesy of a musician that Walsh ended up seeing repeatedly, and his guilty pleasure song is from an understated improvisor. "It's not a taste shared with my wife."
