"Salvaged Medium" is a stunning array of North Shore scenic paintings from Jamie Harper, on display at Pizza Luce in Duluth. His work is up through the end of August with a reception happening on Wednesday, August 1, 7-9 p.m. at Pizza Luce, located on the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street in Duluth.
Harper, who lives and works in Winona Minnesota, joins us on Radio Gallery to talk about discovering the arts after college, his path to recycled materials his connections to Duluth.
Both a painter and a musician, Harper began his relationship with Duluth after working with Charlie Parr on the cover art for "Barnswallow." He continues to be inspired by the North Shore and is grateful to share his free spirited paintings with Duluth audiences.
