There's lots to read, think and talk about art-wise this week....
- The Tweed Museum of Art will be talking about Barbara Shapiro's The Muralist on Tuesday and you're welcome to come even if you haven't read the book!
- Theartists of 4North are holding a free talk Wednesday at 5pm at the Duluth Art Institute
- And Ann Klefstad is leading anart-making workshop Saturday called Being A Beast. The poetry of John Clare will feature as will the strange and wonderful writings of Charles Foster, who, among other things, lived as a badger for six weeks in an effort to, what he called “grope at extreme otherness.”
To read more about Charles Foster and his year of living dangerously, here is an article from The Guardian and another from The New York Times.
