There are many interesting openings, talks, and exhibits to discover this week in the region. Martin Dewitt will give a talk about his new Zeitgeist exhibit, "The Nature of Space + Hybrid Forms." At the Tweed Museum of Art on Thursday at 6:00pm a talk will be given by John Schuerman, curator for the exhibit "ALL THIS IS TRUE: The Art of Sue Coe and Warrington Colescott." Also on Thursday, The Red Herring Lounge opens an exhibit of the street photography of D.R. Martin, showing life in Duluth in the late 1960s and early 1970s. On Saturday, the DAI will host an all–day ephemeral poetry workshop at the Duluth Art Institute's Lincoln Center for Education in the West End. Also this Saturday at 2 pm at the Ripple River Gallery in Aitkin is the opening of an exhibit of paintings by Carolyn Sue Olson.
