We wrap up Art Week on KUMD this week with a conversation with Mary Reichert, a felt artisan and owner of Otlak Felt Studio. Her interest in the art of felting wool fibers to create rugs and clothing (a different technique than knitted or crocheted wool) has taken her around the world, including three months in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia to study the techniques used there.
